The Ubisoft Forward event gave us insight into all the upcoming games and projects in the studio. We were also treated to the highly awaited Far Cry 6 trailer starring Giancarlo Esposito. The event was divided into three parts: the pre-show, the main event, and the post-show. Read all big updates from the main case below.
Watch Dogs: Legion
The main event began with a short film showcasing the story behind ‘Watch Dogs: Legion.’ The short film was accompanied by a trailer for Legion. The game is set in a futuristic London, where a terrorist attack is bringing the city under lockdown. The government decides to appoint a private military outfit to order the city. The outfit is led by Nigel Cass, the main antagonist of the game. There is another major villain named after Mary Kelly, the biggest crime lord in the region.
A gameplay trailer gave us insight into the open world and features of Watch Dogs: Legion. The game will be released on October 29, 2020.
Brawlhalla
Ubisoft has announced that Brawlhalla is coming to iOS and Android. The game is going to have a crossplay feature and has over 50 legends to play with. The game will be launched on 6 August 2020.
Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad
We also showed a film trailer for Tom Clancy ‘s Elite team. The trailer didn’t show a lot about the gameplay or the plot. More news will be coming soon.
Hyper-Scape
Ubisoft welcomed us back to the Hyper Scape universe a few days ago. Of course, the futuristic battle-royal made an impression. We have been introduced to the backstory of HyperScape, a simulation-type situation created by a company in 2054. The trailer also revealed that a lot is to be discovered around the world of Hyper Scape, and more news is coming soon. Additionally, the beta is now available for download. Take a look at this one.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
The event also received updates on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ‘s upcoming AAA title. We got a preview of the gameplay that was reportedly leaked a couple of days ago. The game adds a lot of new aspects to the battle in the game. You play the Eivor that you may choose to be a male or a female character. The game is scheduled to start on November 17, 2020. Ubisoft Forward unveils the Far Cry 6 trailer
The Far Cry 6 was the ‘pièce de résistance’ of the main case. There was a lot of talk about Giancarlo Esposito being part of the franchise, and we weren’t disappointed. We’ve got to look at the movie title trailer and the real game trailer. Take a look at both of them below
