Breaking its traditional launch timeline, Apple might be planning to host multiple product launch events this September to launch its new products like the latest iPhone 13, iPad mini, MacBook Pro models, and more in the same month.
As per a report from Digitimes (paywall) claims (via MacRumors) that Apple is planning to host multiple product launch conferences in September and one of the events will highlight an updated baseline iPad, which is rumored to have a new design along with a chip upgrade.
Last year, Apple has many product launch events which starting with the reveal of the Apple Watch 6, the iPad Air (2020), and the latest baseline iPad in September. iPhone 12 was released in October and M1 MacBook lineup was unveiled in November.
Also, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman stated he believes Apple is gearing up for a jam-packed series of announcements with the iPhone 13 (or iPhone 12S) set to arrive this September and the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models said to launch by November. So it seems highly unlikely for Apple to host multiple events in the same month.
Well, there’s no denying that Apple does have several rumored products (including the iPhone 13 family, the iPad Mini 6, a new 9th-generation iPad, the Apple Watch Series 7, new AirPods, and new MacBooks) expected to launch in multiple events in September and later this year. But it can be possible that Cupertino-based tech giant might be planning to host multiple events one in September (for iPhone 13) and the other in October or early November (for other products).
However, the launch events will be virtual and can be viewed on Apple’s official website and YouTube much like the preview WWDC 2021 event. And the most probable day for an event in September is September 14.
