Diving into some all-time famous betrayals in the anime world

It is considered that great betrayals lead to great revenge and hence, great action. The betrayals are the spine of anime world, they are the turning points in the story, they may give you emotional diarrhea. So, let us dive into some of the all-time famous betrayals in the anime history.

1. Aizen is not the victim

Anime: BLEACH

Sosuke Aizen, the silent nerd with glasses, was murdered, what a pity!! He used to be a well-respected captain before he betrayed the soul society and set off as the main antagonist of the series. He planned to overthrow the soul society by waging war against it. His new appearance backed up the betrayal.

2. Annie Leonhart is the female titan

Anime: ATTACK ON TITAN

The unseen female titan kicked over the intensity in the 2^nd season of the series. She always had been one of the protagonists in the anime until this betrayal was revealed. Watching Annie mercilessly murder her fellow members counting Levi squad members in and knock the daylight out of Aaron’s titan form, had everyone on the brink. It was always a pain to see her transforming into a titan.

3. Griffith turns into demon king, Femto

Anime: BERSERK

After Griffith was imprisoned by the king, his loyal band, Band of the Hawks had to suffer as well. However, they recovered and set out to save Griffith. They risked everything to rescue him. Meanwhile, Griffith had a chance to turn his fate. This deal with the demon came with a great price. He took a complete 360° turn and agreed to sacrifice everyone. Unaware of the situation the band kept protecting him as they were being torn apart.

4. Reiner and Bertolt’s betrayal

Anime: ATTACK ON TITAN

Episode 6 from season2 revealed that Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie had been working together. Reiner is the armored and Bertolt is the colossal titan. They were the main titans who broke down the wall Maria in Shiganshina district and killed half of the people there including Eren’s mother.

5. Shigechi the traitor

Anime:  JOJO’s BIZARRE ADVENTURE; DAIMOND IS UNBREAKABLE

This slow helper always wanted to have friends. He started to assist Jouske in his money-making scheme but as soon Shigechi got hold of some real money, he wanted it all for himself.  He used harvest to tear up his friends.

6. Itachi Uchiha murdered his own clan

Anime: NARUTO

Itachi was considered the best in his generation but after the third Shinobi war, he started looking for peace. He was acting as a double spy and believed that his actions will lead them to peace. So he decided to slaughter his whole clan in order to prevent war leaving behind Sasuke and Tobi alone.

7. Devious Frieza

Anime: DRAGON BALL SUPER

The tournament of Power brought us the creepiest Frieza ever. He actually murdered his counterpart from universe6 there. Initially, he looked happy with it and learned a few tricks from him. But he eventually killed him brutally. Clearing the fact that he isn’t so keen on there being more than one of him inhabiting the same space.
