The anime community has some greatly written characters all thanks to the creative power animation bestows. These not only consist of heroes but genius villains as well. These villains have become fan-favorites and sometimes become a more discussed topic compared to any other great hero. Let’s dive into such villains which had point for what he did.

Madara is a peerless, rebellious character who was publicized for years as the main villain of the anime series. He is flamboyant and has deep reasons behind his every single action with no weakness. He has the power to tame the 9 tailed beasts. He understood the detrimental aspects of war so he decided to turn the world into heaven. Hence, he tried to curate peace in his own ways through infinite Tsukuyomi.

Lelouch VI Britannia from Code Geass

Lelouch VI Britannia: Code Geass

Lelouch was the 11th Prince of the Britannia Empire. This genius fella initially seeks revenge for his mother’s death. But as the story progresses he figures out the reality and starts another journey. Now he craves to pursue a better world, as he believes that the world could live in cooperation rather than constant conflict and struggle. Going as far as being killed as a villain for the sake of this world.

Chizome Akaguro from My Hero Academia

Chizome Akaguro: My Hero Academia

Chizome Akaguro also known as The Hero Killer “Stain” was the notorious villain in the world of My Hero Academia. His ideology concerns the eradication of those heroes who desire this job just for fame and income. He respects All Might and believes that he is a true hero. But those who he targets, he gives them a notorious ending. He has killed 17 pro heroes and impaired more than 23 pro heroes. He is ruthless when it comes to heroes and can even overpower Shigaraki.

Remember the line from 2008 hit Dark Knight, “You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain”, this is something that best describes Light Yagami. The credits of Death Note being favorite of the anime community goes to the 2 main characters Light and L. Light is a vigilante killer who takes the world as a hopeless place and takes it upon himself to eradicate the defect. He is seen as God in the story even though what he is doing is unethical because they believe he took the burden of being God of Death all by himself and made the crime rates drop.

Charlotte Katakuri from One Piece

Charlotte Katakuri: One Piece

He is the most troublesome antagonist of One Piece, a monster with 1 Billion plus bounty, the second son of the Charlotte Family, he is Katakuri. His compassion towards his family is evident from the fact that he wants to become undefeated in order to protect them. This desire transformed him into the man that fought Luffy to prevent the destruction of whole cake island. He has a perfect image of a fighter who has never once lost the battle and never even had his back touch the ground. When Luffy destroyed his island he took it upon himself to pursue the straw hats and revenge the chaos they had caused his family.
