According to code found by 9to5Google in the Android version of Apple Music, Apple is said to be working on the subscription services package called “Apple One,” a service that could be released soon.
Signs of the “Apple One” package have been found in the 3.4.0 beta of Apple Music for Android, suggesting that Apple Music will be part of the services. From the app code for Android:
<string name=”applemusic_with_aristotle_subtext”>Included in Apple One %s</string>
<string name=”aristotle_main_subtext”>Subscription Bundle %s</string>
It’s good to know that Apple has a straightforward notice in place, which means that they don’t double the cost for Apple One and your new Apple Music subscription.
<string name=”aristotle_main_more_info”>Your Apple Music subscription will be included in Apple One starting %s. You will not be charged for both subscriptions.</string>
Notably, you don’t seem to be able to handle or renew your Apple One subscription from the Android edition of the Apple Music app. An iOS, macOS, or tvOS device seem appropriate to do that.
<string name=”aristotle_renewaloption_subtext”>You can manage your Apple One subscription using your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or Mac.</string>
Unfortunately, no further information could be found in the app, such as pricing or when Apple expects to launch this new subscription package. The next potential opportunity for Apple One to launch will be next week’s Apple event, which is currently expected to add new features to the iPad Air and Apple Watch lines.
