Who is Dabi from My hero Academia

My hero academia provides a load of characters from All might to Midnight, Izuku Midoria to Minoru Mineta, Nine to Moonfish There is a huge diversity in their quirks, motivation motive and their personality. History of some characters mesmerises fans, and others trouble them.

But Dabi’s history has always remained hidden. One with purple-coloured patches covering most of his body is Dabi. He is one of the darkest characters in the whole series so far. His quirk is cremation, can control the blue flames. He is one of the main antagonists in the series (Forest training arc, Pro camp arc)

Fans are always putting forward lots of theories regarding Dab, due to his hidden past. But the most circulated theory was, fans speculating that he could be Endeavor’s eldest son, thanks to his fire power quirk.

He was suspected to be Toya Todoroki. Yes!!! the creators have confirmed this theory after all these years. Horikoshi has played the fans very well, even though he had brought Dabi and Endeavor together before but only confirmed the theory now. This was projected in chapter 290, the chapter was named Dabi’s Dance

This chapter would be DIWALI gift to  the fans. It starts with Rei Todoroki watching TV in the hospital and she looked shocked. We can see Dabi’s face on the screen. Then after some events we can see the continued showdown in the battlefield according to Shigaraki’s perspective.

Shigoraki is not in a very good condition. During this sequence Endeavor is lying  on the ground with guilt. He is at his limit. Dabi is watching him while standing on Gigantomachia’s soldier. Endeavor screams Dabi. But Data along with pouring some liquid over his head which turned his hair white, corrects him by saying” I HAVE A GREAT NAME, CALL ME TOYA”.

(BOOM!!) Then the pre-recorded video started to play in front of Rei Todoroki. Dabi stated that he is Toya Todoroki, Endeavor’s eldest son. He first counted his murders and then started to talk about what lead him to the this. He continued, the world number 1 hero is the cause of this destruction. He was not able to live up to Endeavor’s expectations,  thus, was abandoned. Then Dab puts these amazing lines –

” THE PAST NEVER DIES. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW, SO LET’S TANGO, A DANCE WITH YOUR SON HERE IN THE HELL!! “

Dab’s motives are clear. He wants to destroy Endeavor. This pre-recorded video was  being broadcasted nationally, which sure intended to ruin endeavors reputation in public. These events will  definitely lead to more secrets being revealed and for sure more excitement.
