Charli XCX has hit back at Instagram after they deleted a video of her dancing to Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B’s hit song WAP. (The song for which a petition was launched last month to exclude Kylie Jenner from its music video) And now Charli has hit back at Instagram by posting the video for the second time, of course. “The Boys” song singer re-posted the clip along with a fittingly defiant caption, saying “Instagram deleted my epic WAP video so I’m re-posting”. “Coz last time I checked it wasn’t offensive to dance around in a bikini and swim goggles.”
Charli isn’t the only celebrity who has posted video reactions to the song of the summer “WAP”: Celebrity like Charlie Puth, Jason Derulo, and James Charles, can’t stop talking about the song and dancing to it either. The track by Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B has experienced sensational success, by topping the charts in both the US and UK, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland too. In America, the sex as part of its campaign song about vaginal lubrication became the 1st female rap collab to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, bringing in record streaming numbers in its 1st week of launch which is 93 million.
