The next chapter of the Game of Thrones universe could be an animated drama series, according to reports by The Hollywood Reporter. And if what THR has reported about this is true, then this animated series is not for the children. As early talks about the “adult-learning project with a similar tone to the original show” points that this animated series could be focused on adults.
So, are we getting an R-rated animated spinoff of Game of Thrones? Well, the studio has not yet offered any official confirmation on this, it’s being said that HBO’s Drama Co-Head Francesca Orsi and R.R. Martin are working on expanding the franchise. So let’s hope for the best.
After a disappointing end of the Game of Thrones series on HBO, this is the latest development in the universe of Game Of Thrones. Of course, after the announcement of its prequel series House of the Dragon set to release in 2022. The first prequel series starring Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, and Matt Smith, which is set to go into production sometime in spring this year.
