Warner Bros ‘production.’ The Batman was again delayed, this time because star Robert Pattinson tested COVID-19 positive, reported Vanity Fair. A few days ago in London, the highly awaited retelling of the caped crusader’s story with the Twilight star in the title role had just resumed shooting.
“A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in compliance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily halted, “Warner Bros. told VF in a statement. The studio did not confirm that the individual who had been infected
The film was postponed several months back in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the studio reshaped its slate of forthcoming movies. It was to hit theatres in June 2021, but it was moved back to October 2021. If Pattinson is sick, it almost definitely means that the film will be postponed further.
Director Matt Reeves debuted The Batman’s teaser trailer last month at DC Fan Dome.
