
Former rapper Logic has reportedly paid an insane amount of money for a first edition Charizard Pokémon card. And which makes the card the most expensive Nintendo collectible ever purchased.
A Card trading watchdog Cardhops has reported that a PSA 10 Base Set 1st Edition Charizard from 1999 had sold at auction.

And according to reports from TMZ, the buyer who has paid a whopping $226,000!!! is none other than former rapper Logic, real name Robert Bryson Hall II. Former Rapper is a noted Pokemon fan, and also recently he has acquired a Pokemon base box set for $23,000. But with this new card purchase, he has broken the record for Nintendo collectibles.
This card in question is a super-rare card. The first edition Charizard which is shadowless (means the shadow on the right side of the art is absent). In the last few years, the value of Pokemon trading cards has got increased by a large amount as if you remember when Pokemon became a thing, the card had almost no value but now you can buy a house in exchange for one of these.
